Anyone new info on Palelei?

All I've heard is injured knee and the coach says it doesn't look good.

The newspaper quoted medical sources as reporting that it was a "knee injury." Thank god the medical sources got involved to provide solid medical expertise. Knees, elbows, wrist and necks all look alike.

MRI Monday. He was walking around without crutches at the Clinic.
They think the MCL is torn but don't think surgery will be necessary...nothing for sure til the MRI.

Well this is certainly good news.
Usually the MCL doesn't need surgery ... hopefully the MRI is just a precaution.
Docs can often tell if it's an ACL on the field and will order the MRI as a precaution.
Don't want to get my hopes up, but that certainly is encouraging.
