Any word on how Dinkelmann is progressing from his ankle injury?

Does anyone truly believe that Dinkelmann will ever see the campus? Ty Detmer is the OC/QB coach at BYU. He is BYU bound. I am actually surprised he hasn't flipped to them already.

Is he even the elite prospect he was projected to be 3 years ago?

Nobody knows, he had to sit out all of last season due to injury just about, as a freshman he didnt play varsity.

Agree 100%. Actually meant to post this a few weeks ago. I was in Utah for a ski trip and struck up conversation about college football with shuttle bus driver who was a BYU fan. He told me about the hiring of Detmer as the QB/OC coach and I immediatley thought that means we lose Dinkelmann. I'm assuming having his uncle as OC/QB coach at a school of his faith trumps his grandfather's fandom for LSU.
I'm just like you, shocked he hasn't already flipped. I guess we can hope... At least we are much closer for his immediate family to travel and watch him play.
