Any update on Jamal Adams

The only update really is that it is still an LSU / Florida battle. If anything though, the momentum seems to be on the side of LSU. Even the Florida sites who were feeling Adams was going to Florida have backed off of that and acknowledge that LSU is in a strong position.
I think the fact that Hootie decommitted from Bama and LSU seems to be a little uninterested says a lot about how they feel about Adams.
You'll have your answer January 2nd.

I hate it, but hootie may be left out. With Jamal, Paris, brown and voohries, that's a good bit of dbs. We still have some great ones enrolled.
No way we turn him down though. We will make room. I just feel like we have enough skill guys period. Would love some more guys on the line.

I want to think we will make room, and we might. But we have a lot of guys we are after. From the guys we "know" were getting to Lorenzo carter to McDowell. And there may be guys that we don't know about. Too tight of a squeeze and too many priorities on front of him.
Hootie may end up being a precautionary tale. Get in where you fit in. Commit or get off the pot. He lost his "sure" spot when he committed to bama.
