I think we get two of the four listed if we are lucky. I would not expect more than that. Of course, I am not a recruiting board guru...so, take it for what its worth.

I think we're in the fight for all four.

Beckwith will come down to whether or not he wants to play close to home (or, perhaps, on offense) - personally, with the right team I think he could be one of the rarest of all creatures - a dominant TE in college. However, he's going to play with his hand on the ground or stand up will likely be a function of where he goes to school (Bama he will almost certainly play LB the whole time) and how much weight he gains.

As for the other three - Gilmore and Williams may balk at coming in with so much DL talent, so we may only get 1. RSJ may hinge on the injury and how heavily he's recruited as he recovers.

I heard RSJ is no longer being recruited by Texas so it's between A&M and LSU.

Gilmore and Williams would be awesome pick ups.

I picked Beckwith off the ESPN site and I'd hate to lose another in-state blue chipper to Bama

Yeah they are going to play to different roles right?

Williams @ DE
Gilmore @ DT

I guess I am more concerned with Preist Willis than the other. Although I feel bullish about our current DB crop for 13 and looking into 14 as well.

i think willis will commit on the spot if he comes for the bama game...he wont be able to deny the top notch facilities, coaching, atmosphere, etc.

With 23 commits, how much room do we have left?

My qeustion on Willis is why not look at Arizona or A State. Those programs seem to be decent. I can think of First rounders that came brom both schools.

Also I wonder if he Goodman are trying to do a dual Package things

i think we will be able to take 26 or 27 with EE...also expect 1 or 2 academic casualties, nobody in particular but it happens every year

It seems I implied they are being recruited for the same role - assuming Gilmore even stays at DE, but I didn't mean that. Gilmore may play outside - he will have to get signficantly heavier and stronger to play tackle - that may work against his natural quickness and make him less effective - I'm all for playing him where he fits best - if that's DE at 6'4" and 285 or 290 pounds, I'm good with that.

Tim Williams (teammate of Manny Miles, Gregory Bowser and Nik Kragthorpe) will play at the smaller, more athletic DE spot (unless he goes to Bama).

I am not going to lie I really RSJ!

With out a doubt he is the big strong WR we need. With Beckham, Wright nad Landry being strong smaller guys with great hands. Would be nice to have that deep ball threat. I read that before the Injury RSJ was not super fast but very athletic and had some wheels.
