seen on the Banditos' twitter that he hit 92 with the fastball recently... then read in an article about our legion team that he transferred from Brother Martin.

kid is 6'3" and 176 and plans to play a position when not pitching

can't say he is an LSU-type prospect yet without knowing more about him, but he has time to get there

anyone know more about him?

Kid has trouble commanding the zone.

92 on the gun means nothing if you can't command the fastball. Ask Eric Walker.

Have seen him several times playing travel ball...throws extremely hard, tough when he's throwing strikes. Downhill angle with velocity hard to hit....but has struggled with control and has not shown a breaking ball.

Watched him pitch tonight against Ponsteins (Holy Cross)
Walked 2 struck out 3
Seemed like he threw all fastballs probably mid eighties.
Ponsteins couldn't touch him when he threw strikes.

He only struck out 3 and walked 2, were they hitting outside pitches?

Only pitched 1 inning. They couldn't touch him. If he can learn to pitch off speed he can be really good.

I'm not Mr
Harris, my son plays on the team.
You need to come up with a better line that's getting old.

most of the time it's this. some family member using a cheap gun. it's funny how fast ball speeds go down when the kids reach college.

That's a big pick up. He's considered a top 5 player in the state for his class. Dean is recruiting pretty well it seems.

Well, if Tulane is going to keep sucking, hopefully UNO can put together a solid program... the LSU/Tulane baseball rivalry used to be awesome

Really don't think they're sucking lol... He's the third Chalmette pitcher to commit to UNO this decade...

Bump

Seen him close a crucial save last week and a complete game win yesterday... He hit a few batters. Last week when batting he got hit so hard you could hear the ball impacting his calf bone, but he shook it off, stayed in the game and that's when he got the save.

Our district isn't the best competition, so one of the top seeds will get a raw deal facing him in a single game scenario.

Schindler looks pretty good so far in his limited innings. A WHIP barely over 1, only 1 earned run given up in 5 appearances.

they've been keeping him at one and two innings... He didn't even pitch last year in what should have been his senior year and had to earn his spot. No injury, I had heard it was disciplinary issues

That one earned run was against Ole Miss at Swayze

LSU 2019 baseball recruiting pretty much wrapped up already, if you don't get an offer early in your high school career most SEC schools not interested

Not saying I like the way recruiting goes but that's life now

Sounds like a Delgado prospect to me
