Damn. Will Wade isn't playing around. No existing player jobs are safe. I can see a culture change just in the way he's conducting his recruiting and it's so damn refreshing.

Along with visiting Georgetown and LSU, he's also talking to Louisville.

Alstork is a very fluid shooter , confident catch and shoot form. Similar style to Marcus Thornton.

Wade is not content with just a long shot at the NIT with jr. high talent. He is at least making the effort to bring LSU to the next level with collegiate talent. Good hire so far.

Will Wade has come in here and promised a culture change and so far, seems to be delivering. His attitude towards it not being acceptable to be mediocre is amazing.

I think Sampson will benefit the most from the coaching change.
Better system and I think he can become a really good player.

GH the new assistant coach is one of the best in the business at developing guards. I'm excited to see what he does in his first year with all the high potential guys we have there.

If we add this transfer the season will be really interesting. It might be a little ambitious to think that the team could make the tournament consider non of those guys are world beaters, but that would be the deepest team we've had in a long time.

Mays, Edwards, Sampson and Alstork can all be solid players at guard and then if another guy like Hayward can step up or if one of the freshman wing can make an impact then you can have a legit guard rotation.

In the post, when's the last time we could actually rotate 4 guys? Again, non of them are world beaters, but all of them can bring something to the table and not just be a warm body (aka ER, malone, Bridgewater etc)

That's my point. No more warm bodies on the roster. Most of them can bring some contribution
