Whats up tiger fam ,Les Miles compared Amik Robertson to Tyrann Mathieu in an interview recently...I know we will not be bringing many dbs in this year I was just wondering how serious we are about Amiks recruitment,because as far as I see there hasn't been a scholarship offer.Thanks for the info in advance!!!

If he performs well like Tyrann Mathieu did in camps, he could earn an offer. Size is probably the biggest concern at 5'8.5" as well as a torn ACL last year, but if Les is already comparing him to Tyrann, it's definitely possible. The 2016 DB class was loaded, so it's not really a priority position. I'd put the odds slightly less than 50-50 he ends up in the class, but I'm not an expert, just based on what I follow on recruiting sites.

Amik is a baller! Forget his size he can flat out play and has a nose for the ball. We will be regretting not giving this kid a shot if we don't offer. After his senior year is done he will be rated very highly!

I think he gets an offer but it will be later in the summer or during the season they want to make sure he returns fully from the ACL.
