Now that Kiffin is flipping burgers I think this might scratch USC of his list of potential school. I know LSU, and Florida are high on his list but this can only help our chances for him.

Right now it's more like...

UF

LSU

We need to get him in on a visit, and tell him he'll start right away wherever he wants on defense.

Probably helps USC more than anything. He wasn't goingto USC with Kiffin there. The new coach could drastically change things there in recruiting. Jackson is a current Gator lean as it stands. Long way to go in his andall CA kids recruitments now. Theyre basicalky starting all over again with the biggest bully on the block getting new blood

i'm not sure......i think it's more important to get brown and hootie and keep paris. I like paris as a corner, but most see him as a safety. I understand that.....he has great coverage skills for a safety prospect and has the size....mostly because he's played corner a ton. Hootie is a can't miss........we cannot afford to lose another top safety from state. Brown is the fastest corner in the nation. He's looking to be a dual sport guy, which puts LSU in good shape (and his sister is here already).

Jackson is a kid that i think would actually receive some consideration to move to offense like brazil. That opportunity may help us because recently he mentioned playing offense.

We have a stockpile of corners that need to develop.......our focus has to be at the safety position. Of course, you take a great athlete like Jackson if you can.

We have been taking great athletes, but we need to focus on needs. It is not helping us right now to have 5 guys that can run the ball and only a couple of capable safeties. Or only a few dlinemen to rotate in at defensive tackle. We need great depth everywhere. Safety is a top need. Defensive tackle is also a big need with the possible departure of Ego and Freak. Receiver should be outstanding in this class, but we will have very inexperienced players there.

I thought the coaches had come to the conclusion that we didn't have a spot for him to play because of his size and the fact we already have playmakers like Brazil here and Noil coming.

He will never play defense in the sec. He's 5ft7. That's 2 inches smaller than Hardeman. He will probably end up playing slot receiver

Wat

You absolutely have a spot for a player like Jackson regardless of what you already have. If you don't have a spot, you make one immediately

receiver and returner. He's a stud corner, but i'm not sure anyone would be able to keep up with him cutting into routes.

Regardless of size, he is an unbelievable talent with tremendous speed and athleticism. He could easily play CB but I think he'll be a hell of a nickel/dime back, return punts and kicks. Also think he would be a freak WR in the slot.

Easy Money...
I agree, we need Brown and Hootie more than Jackson. They are key players we need an immediate starters IMO. Hootie is a safety with CB cover skills and Brown is just a freak CB and competitor.

Ed Paris IMO is a safety at LSU. He could play bc and safety but he's so big right now and would have a bigger impact at FS. Either way we need him bad

I like paris at both free safety and corner. I would just prefer a big, physical corner with his ball skills and playmaking ability. Battle and Voorhies are guys I think that can fill the free safety position.

I know it's wishful thinking, but we are at our best defensively with big, physical corners. Paris is listed as a safety prospect. I get it. He's an unreal playmaker with the size for safety.

Adoree' is 5'9" which is just as tall as Tyrann Mathieu. He'd be fine on defense
