Gotta be careful...only 8 schollies left.

Only my opinion....if we cant sign Akers or have another Big Elite back to sign....leave rb alone with the 2 we have already and load up next year.

Sign one more OT (Ealy ?).

Obviously a scholly to Devonta Smith if he wants in (but not sure he wants in).

Thats 1 scholly to the Offense and 7 to the Defense

If we can get a commit from these young men:

Wilson (1)
Buggs (2)
Todd Harris (3)
Another Safety/Corner (4)
Moses (5)
Chaisson (6)
Allen/ Ignont/ Leroy (1 or ALL of these young men depending how things go with the list).

Valentine will be back-signed to last year I believe.

Numbers getting tight.

That would be phenomenal with 2 extra spots for defense,...... pending elite young men availability and a "want/chest" to be Tigers.

We definitely have to load up on linebackers. Moses, Chaisson, Allen and at least 1 or 2 others. We are pretty much down on offense unless Akers or Smith want in.

Yes, heard he looked good but not much on how the visit went.

Agree, and it would not surprise me if CLM hedges his bets with some of the lesser ranked guys (offering schollies) as we are likely to lose quite a few underclassmen after the season, thus opening up the overall number of scholarships available for the roster. Going to be an interesting finish. I just hope we get at least 4 quality LBs, and right now I only see one (P Queen) in the fold. Finish strong!

I know that single games rarely have an impact on recruiting, but it looks like the Bama game very well could this cycle. We need to beat them convincingly.

It will slow down for the next month with camp starting next week.

There will be some that waver through the season when they start making visits.
Might be one or two that LSU cools on.

There's no telling how many we will land but we are about to lose a ton of players after this season to the draft and graduation. I wouldn't be surprised if they take more than 25.

4 OL is Plenty for this class

OL is hardest position to recruit. At the end of the day its kind of a numbers game. I would bet 1 spot for another OL, and another spot for a TE if they found one they liked.

I agree. Last year we signed four, but two of them were not recruited by any big time programs besides us. I would say those two are long shots. So I think we need five solid offensive linemen this year. Luckily, all four of our commitments are big time recruits. S. Charles is only a three star, but he's obviously moving up.

I don't think LSU has to beat Bama by a large margin to have a positive impact on recruiting. Just win. If LSU beats Bama this year by any margin, whether large or small, I believe it will definitely help us out in recruiting some big names.
