Allen is an OT from New Orleans, and A&M is cleaning up at OT for '16.
Fulton is a CB from New Orleans..so hopefully he buys into DB U

not having white on list is just stupid. also, shocked to see 2 livonia players on list. know they made it to dome last year but i don't think livonia has had 2 four stars in total over the last 7-8 years.

fyi- no. 10 player in la. in 2014 and 2016 rated 95. n0. 14 player in each year rated 92. 2016 won't be able to replicate 3 in top 10 like 2014 but it should be deeper. white, beal, davis, fountain, belton could all end up 4* but are not an list today. big year!

Definitely some headscratchers in there. No White makes the whole list irrelevent to me. The excuse makes it even dumber.
As for Veal, don't care what he says, he doesn't have an offer from us. Secondly, he struggled throwing the ball at one of the Nike camps and really that's all they have to go by currently aside from So film which can be decieving.
We better offer Patterson if we want Mykel Jones it appears. If that happens ( I'm neither here nor there on the issue) then the whole Veal argument is null and void since its unlikely we'd take 2 qbs. Maybe he comes as an athlete.
Drake Davis is not in LA and not concentrating on football so until that changes it doesn't matter who ranks him where. Kid is something else as an athlete though. Hope he does come back and concentrate on football. Likely as good an athletic talent as the state would have in most years.
If things hold true to form, and we offer, we will land most of those kids. Great job by the staff getting on them early and pressing

Veal has an offer from us. There hasnt been anything that tells me has was not offered. Coach Cam was the 1st BCS coach to go visit him at school and watch him play. And Cameron told him that he would personally be working with him at LSUs camp / Boys from the Boot. Mike S has said he has an offer too.
And it was his 1st season playing QB this past season. And he didnt play football until 8th grade, and was a WR. It was his 1st time taking reps as a QB. And this is what he does: LINK
Hes inexperienced at QB. But has all the tools to be great. And what impressed me so much about Veal is that he has great awareness in the pocket, makes good decisions, and doesnt look flustered at all when things break down and he has pressure in his face.
And why do you think the staff takes Patterson over Veal? Just curious. And isnt Patterson already committed to Arizona?
And, by the time these kids would step foot on campus Harris would be a JR, Jennings a SR. And nobody knows if we are going to take a QB in the 2015 class. I could see us taking 2 QBs in 2016.
But yea I do agree that top 15 LA players list is shitty.

Veal is a good athlete, but far from the best QB in the state. kid plays 1A ball and just started playing fb in 8th grade Belton, Patterson, Scott, Wallace all look better on tape.
Rivals started all the confusion in this interview Interview. Veal starts naming school like he's reading flash cards, and finishes his list of school with "and stuff like that". In all fairness to the kid, I think he was just naming schools that he had been in contact with. Rivals reported as if they were actual offers. LSU has NOT offered an in state 2016 QB yet.
