Says Bama is the favorite

quote:

Predicting the finish: The Crimson Tide look like they will land No. 1 and No. 2 in the state in five-star linebackers Ben Davis and Lyndell Wilson. Top100 cornerback Nigel Knott announces Monday and we’ll put him in the Crimson Tide class (BamaOnLine insider Tim Watts is going Tide here). Top100 defensive end Terrell Hall has been considered an Alabama lean dating back to the summer. Top100 cornerback Shyheim Carter appears to be headed to Tuscaloosa as well. Top247 receiver Mykel Jones and tight end Irvin Smith are favored to end up at Alabama.

Final Score: Those guys alone put Alabama up to 299.43.

More Alabama notes But there is more. The Crimson Tide could land Top100 receiver A.J. Brown. They’re still in the discussion for five-star receiver Demetris Robertson. Five-star linebacker Mique Juarez and five-star defensive tackle Derrick Brown have Alabama as finalists. Four-star defensive tackle Michail Carter and JUCO defensive lineman Jamare King are on the board as well.

"The Crimson Tide have never led but they should be the betting favorite to finish No. 1 for a sixth-straight year."

Alabama 299.43
LSU 298.77
Florida State 291.24
Ole Miss 287.20

Shocking how the recent recalculations would give them the highest total by fractional points.

Not that it matters a whole lot, it's just so predictable.

I'm over final rankings at this point. This class is loaded and the bumps down when kids commit to LSU are just comical at this point. We've been knowing that Bama has multiple 5 star guys waiting until NSD so this isn't shocking. And honestly, can anyone really argue otherwise at this point?

exactly. Those rivals recalcs will be just enough to pull Bama ahead.

Go figure. So I guess it comes down to Shyhiem Carter then huh

Also just like I listed yesterday how Coach O's shifted his focus from Giles to Martin since Martin is now very receptive to us. He just confirmed it. This Brodyman guy really is just guessing with his info, going off tweets from the kids and shite. He's no more of an in the know guy than my dog Otis

I think there's decent chance they don't get both LBs, and based on recent rumblings it looks like Knott will be signing elsewhere.

Forget these rankings. In 5 years when it actually counts Michigan will have had the #1 class

So LSU pulls in the best class in the history of recruiting and gets 2nd? Sounds right. Time to start finishing 1st on the field though. We are ready!

Needs filled so I don't care about rankings. We will have more ESPN 300 players than any team in history. ESPN will give us the number one class and talk about it all day
