Next season will go a long way in determining this. Miles' team is loaded with talent and experience at every position group. Even QB will be decent next year. I think he has a good chance of winning the SEC and making the playoffs. If he does, he'll still be here in 2017.

If he has a three loss season next year, he's finished. They'll still keep him another year, but the writing will be on the wall.

Gotcha. I am going to show Coleman's Dad and he usually asks for a link. I think Trey will go for 1500 or more the next 2 years. Well, if they run WM's offense. If they run the Auburn package more and throw 25 times a game, I think he'll have 1500 total, but not rushing.

LSU needs to start recruiting the parish DLman and big backers again. Back in the late 90s our team was full of them but our secondary was lacking. Now that its the best in the nation lets go back to what worked back then. Coach O will be instrumental in doing this. Our Dline was beastly back then and they were all basically from La. Some were from the north and that's ok too just get em back!!

IMO Miles will be here at least another 5 years and will leave when he retires. Which may be another 10 years.

The man stacks talent, rolls up wins and will throw in a few championships here and there.

That's the resume of a HOF college coach.

Miles will be here at least long enough to break Charlie Mac's record as winningest coach in LSU history.

You'll have a harder time finding a year LA isn't loaded than one that is. Its always loaded just sometimes(like 14 and 16) ridiculously so. There are always a good 15-20 LSU good kids in the state. Years like 14 and 16 just have an inordinate amount at the top and better depth. Its a great state to be in.

Clyde Edwards Helaire is another one to watch. RB from Catholic that split time with Guice his sophomore year and his freshman year. Only freshman to start for Weiner IIRC.

I tend to agree, he needs to go 10-2 OB next year but it will be real interesting to see how hot the seat gets if he goes 9-3. What people on this board don't get is that Miles is really, really well thought of in LSU Admin and with Aleva. If he goes 9-3, 9-3 in 15 & 16 I think he survives because of what admin thinks of him. Now if all of those losses are in the SEC west "probably the case" then that seat probably gets very, very warm.
