Kentrell Love, CB, Washington

My first reach of the draft, but he's my favorite recruit that signed with UW this year. With a big gap until my next pick, I didn't want to take a chance with someone that I wanted really bad.

The most physical CB on the west coast. UW got on him early and secured his commitment, then he blew up his senior season and we had to fend off hard pushes from UCLA and USC over the last few months. UCLA wanted him badly and they thought they were going to be able to flip him on his visit, but that didn't happen.

6'2" 170 right now, but hits like a LBer.

I am requiring you to watch his film because I do it for fun when I'm bored LINK

It's filled with cheap shots (like at 1:15), but I'd rather have him tone it down than go the other direction. They also play in one of the best leagues in the country, so it's pretty much all D1 guys that he's going against (St. John Bosco, Mater Dei, Notre Dame, Serra, and De La Salle were on their schedule this year). Centennial finished as a top 5 team in the country this year.

I feel like it is requirement for anyone that drafts this guy to mention his skydiving announcement.

OBUDan selects:

Kendell Jones, DT, Alabama

Potentially the most physically impressive specimen in this entire signing class. They don't call him Hulk for nothing. He's probably on steroids. He's 6'5", 375 pounds already, and not really fat. Not a sexy pick, but this guy is just a true NT.

Monster reach. I love it.

He was in a group of about 4 Corners I was looking at for the mid-teens

He's one guy that I had to have.

Marcus Peters 2.0 (who I also drafted a few years ago)

He's rated higher than Peters was though.

He was also a guy that the UW coaches absolutely loved and were super pumped to get. There was a lot of talk about him being really underrated when he committed and signed with UW. His film jumped out as well.

The other guy who was exactly like that was Sidney Jones who I also drafted 2 years ago and was 1st team All Pac-12 as a true Sophomore. He had a composite ranking of 1880th, but UW was ecstatic to land him and Utah was pissed that he flipped.

There's a couple of guys like that in UW's class this year. The guy that they were most excited about getting should be getting drafted by someone pretty soon here I'd imagine. I just like Kentrell Love the most.

May as well take our first JUCO player, because he's really stinking good. Give me the King...
