Saw on twitter that Matt Womack will be signing his financial aid agreement papers tomorrow. Is tomorrow the first period that recruits can sign? And if so, any word on other current commits who will be signing tomorrow?

Love that big Matt is signing tomorrow! Shows that he's really 100% committed to us and is all LSU. Big fan of this new process. I know Brandon Harris was one of the first to use this new process last year and it's refreshing to see.

yes, tomorrow is the first day.

No, no others are publicly expected right now. I don't even know many others who are mid year enrollees .

I completely forgot this existed

How does it work again? If a recruit signs it, the school HAS to honor his scholarship no matter what, but the recruit can still back out?

Or is it the other way around

Did KT2 ever get his school to allow him to enroll early?

are you asking if he's on track to early enroll?

If so, I do not know.

A new interpretation for this year means that a school has no reason to offer the financial aid agreement unless it is sure that he will enroll.

I know a lot of private schools in Louisiana don't allow you to early enroll. Not sure how they are in FL... Would love for Toliver to be enrolled in January and get a whole spring under his belt!

Isn't there a limit to the amount of EE's you can have? Does it depend solely on the amount of players graduating that semester or what? The most I ever remember LSU having is like 4-5 EEs.

from my understanding, yes. It based on the 85 man limit

The limit is the number of slots available under the 85 plus the number of players who have graduated by December who are leaving the team (i.e. eligibility used up or going pro early). You can't count them if they graduate in the Spring, even if they used up their eligibility.

It was reported that Shipley will sign the FAA.

I remember Patrick Miller getting screwed because of Gunner Kiel's douche arse...

Shipley signing would be nice. Getting both OTs squared away is never a bad thing. Hopefully him and Womack are both EEs and can come in and learn the system. Linemen who EE are much more likely to contribute early IMO

That was part if it, but they still would have had room for both if a certain senior hadn't dicked around and graduated in December like he was on schedule to.

Not necessarily. He can withdraw but LSU cant. I don't expect that to happen. If he gets an offer from someone else he prefers he is free to take it.
