He's got Elite speed and the offers are starting to pile up.

quote:

"I've had a busy few weeks," he said. "I've got regionals for track on Wednesday then state on May 10. I'm one of the favorites to compete for the state title in the 100 meters and 200 meters this year. My best time so far in the 100 is 10.38 and in the 200 was a 21.36. I think I can improve on those."

Seems like a good player but would we take him over other ATH like Derrick Dillon or Kirk Merritt(I know the answer is no)but we could miss on both. Interested to see if he blows up in the camp scene.

He's got that speed, so is he a football player?....So, yeah, definitely a camp and see type...

Here is a picture of him from last night at regionals. LSU Commit David Ducre right behind him.

I thought Ducre's right arm was another runner.

If hes running a 10.36 in that picture im excited. If you can put 2 an 2 together you understand that thats our 240 pound running back behind him prolly clocked at 10.6 which is nuts

Don't see a spot for him in this class to be honest. At CB he's trailing Roney Elam, Xavier Lewis, Taveres Mcfadden and likely Deshawn Raymond and a couple of other Texas kids on the board. He will have to completely blow the staff away at camp to get an offer or we will have to miss on all the above. Don't see it happening. Lewis is basically a commit and Raymond likely would commit in short ordee if offered and even he may not get one. Tough sledding. If Jackson earns one then I'll cheer for him like any of the others. Wish him luck in his efforts

Yep. They'll find room for him. Doesn't need to be signed as a CB. Could be used in a variety of ways because he is a ATH.
