My dad says he is a good hand. Also is good at baseball.

Led his team deep in playoffs this year.

As a Parkway graduate of 1979 sure would love to see him at LSU.

2012 stats: 2673 yards passing with 26 TD. 677 rushing yards with 12 TD. I saw every game last year and Brandon is legit. He has a strong arm and has good touch on the deep ball. Les came to Parkway a couple weeks ago and talked to him and also met my two nephews who will be seniors this year. Matthew Harper 6'2" 300 OL, he will probably win state powerlifting title this year and Avery Shoebridge K. Avery got to kick for Les and he said he was impressed with his kickoffs for a kid his size,5'9" and maybe 160lb. They are probably not LSU prospects but both are being looked at by other schools. Matt by Nebraska, Missouri,LA Tech for football and powerlifting, and ULL and Avery by Memphis. It's exciting and I'm happy for them. Parkway should be good this year as they return 16 starters from last years team that made it to the quarterfinals.

I like his mechanics and his ability to escape. He throws a great deep ball, but a D1 QB prospect should be able to have that in his arsenal. I just watched the 8:00 clip from 2011 and I counted only 3 throws over the middle and 1 out route.. the rest were deep balls or slip screens. I realize that's because the coaching staff goes with what works.

After watching just a few minutes into his 2012 film, however, he looks even more improved. He possesses the ability to throw accurately on the run, and I noticed he checked down to his secondary options when his initial target was not open. Looks like he really improved between his sophomore and junior seasons. TBH, I like him more than Isom, as far as in-state QBs this year.

My daughter cheers at Loyola and we played Parkway for their HC game. They were up around 42-0 at the half. The kid has a very, very strong arm and he's very athletic. I know their PA announcer very well and may get a little scoop from him at church tomorrow. This kid will probably be the best qb in the state next year.

Just going off that film, he certainly should be. I'm not sold on Isom as the best QB in the state for next year. Don't get me wrong, he's a big kid with a strong arm, but he's 6-12 in two seasons.. which kind've alerts me. I know I'm probably looking too far into it, but I like this Harris kid.

How has he flown so far under the radar? Parkway is a 5A school and they made a nice playoff run this year.

not extremely impressed by the sophomore film, but looks to have made some strides in his junior film. still don't see enough throws on his film, its all the same exact stuff. either a go route or a screen. would need more to see if I thought he was SEC caliber, but the potential is definitely there

I'm not trying to be negative, but can someone respond to the previous assertions about the kid completing roughly 50% of his passes? I watched about half of the 8 minute highlight vid, and we know those things are obviously slanted towards, well, highlights.

Are there other circumstances that are dragging down his completion percentage? I remember reading Rettig had problems with receivers who had bad hands -- are we seeing something similar here? Again, not trying to be negative, just curious.

I feel I have some credibility on this thread.( coach in parish) #7 will be a senior his name is Broderick Jefferson Wr and Cb. Incredible athlete prolly won't get a lot of big time offers (size). Harris has the potential to be a 4 star QB. I see him being best QB in state next year. A 4.4 guy that can spin it. Also a straight A student. Rumor is he wants to go to Arky, did not grow up an LSU fan. But if offer is there from LSU he would strongly consider. Parkway very easily could have beat Barbe in quarters despite turnovers. They have almost their entire team back. Look for them to make a run at 5A title next year.

I thought the exact same thing. Then I watched a few minutes of his junior film. The improvement is evident.

That's the thing, he does get better every week. He came into high school incredibly raw. I watched 5 or 6 games this year he played in. Everything improved from decision making to accuracy. He will have monster season next year.

Local sports news was talking about him yesterday and said Harris plans to put on 25 pounds. Assuming his rivals weight is correct, he'd be 6'3 210.

Harris looks like a great athlete. Plenty of upside and potential there. But no#1 QB prospect in the country? Not quite. Definitely one to keep an eye on though. I thought his WR, #7 was pretty impressive. Most of that highlight film was Harris throwing screens to him and making DBs look like fools.

sophmore film so so not bad but his backs and receivers make the really big plays.
He is a great athlete though.

Colby Copeland, the former Parkway QB, was the best high school QB I have ever seen in person. The most underrated player to come out of the state in a long long time.
