I believe the 2012 thread is current but it is locked in TD land somewhere, so with the season starting I thought I would get the thread started early this year for the next class. Has anyone seen any of these guys play?

Williams is supposed to be a great athlete and a pretty good football player.
Dean is Blake's brother.
Robertson is Kim Mulkey's son.

Edited 6/6/12: Bumping the thread at the conclusion of the 2012 Draft. Does anyone know if someone needs to be added or removed?

Edited 8/5/12: Bugg and Pelaez added.

Michael Barash C Boca Raton, FL (West Boca)

Parker Bugg RHP San Diego, CA (Rancho Bernardo)

Alden Cartwright RHP Baton Rouge, LA (Runnels)

Dakota Dean MIF Crestview, FL (Crestview)

Jarret DeHart OF Medford, NJ (Shawnee)

Jake Fraley OF Middleton, DE (Red Lion Christian Academy)

Nick Longhi 1B Venice, FL (Venice)

Christian Pelaez LHP Miami, FL (Florida Christian)

Jared Poche LHP Lutcher, LA (Lutcher)

Kramer Robertson MIF McGregor, TX (Midway)

Cade Stone OF West Monroe, LA (West Monroe)

Justin Williams 3B Houma, LA (Terrebonne)

Charlie Yorks OF Lake Charles, LA (Barbe)

Danny Zardon 3B Pembroke Pines, FL (American Heritage)

How do we not have the Accadiana C signed?

Kid is a top 100 prospect in the upcoming Draft according to BA.

Trahan is in the 2012 class, not 2013. He signed with Ole Miss and there are numerous threads discussing the situation with him and the younger Cecchini.

I know there was talk at one point of him enrolling early and playing at Ole Miss this Spring, but I haven't heard an update. If he is still at Acadiana there is very little chance he ever sees Oxford, imo.

Charlie Yorks is no longer at St Louis Catholic and now plays for Barbe if you want to update your info.

Yes have seen him play many times and my son played fall ball with him in 2010 with Bullet. He's the real deal, throws right, swings left and can cover a lot of ground in the OF. He's playing RF at Barbe from what I understand. He's actually from Sulphur, played fresh and soph season at St Louis then transferred this past summer. He may be another kid that we may have to keep our fingers crossed to see if he makes it to campus.

Mot, I know mulkey coached at la tech, but wonder why her son didn't commit to baylor. They have a decent program plus she coaches there.

Not sure Weaver. Mulkey is from Hammond and still has family there, but I don't know how close they are or if it was a factor.

I knew she was from la, so am not surprised, but Baylor has had their share of MLB players. Thanks for the info.

Damn Dean is 6'1" 195 out of highschool!? And he adds a left handed bat to the lineup. Wonder how he is defensively and if he stays as a SS??

Justin Williams is the best player in this class by far. I hope he plays college ball though

Just searched the recruiting board for info about Stryker Trahan, the kid from Acadiana. Apparently he's committed to Ole' Miss? lol

one of their teams that finished #1 or #2 in the country had like 9 guys drafted

Those teams with Austin Nagle were so freaking good, they could have been a pretty decent D1 team

I believe since Chad Cooley in the mid 90's EVERY one of their starting shortstops have been drafted and that is going to continue. Amazing stat!
