Yup...but I think the fact that Les and staff basically doubled down on getting him to come to LSU has to play a big part. Not to mention being a premier back in LSUs run game has to be a significant draw...

Basically, I would be shocked if LF wouldn't jump on the opportunity. The starting position would be his to lose.

My only hope is that we could land Robinson, Spain, Brumfield, to go along with Clapp to have a stellar OL so they could absolutely dominate...

That kid is one hell of a running back. What he is going to need to do is keep a level head on his shoulder and not let his stats or notoriety once people start to notice him get to him. He could easily be one of the top RBs in the nation his senior year, but he has to keep a smart head on his shoulders and keep working

I posted this in one of the other LF threads, but I think it belongs here:

Brazil holds the state record in the 55 meters with 6.25 seconds (broke Trindon Holliday's record).

Fournette ran the 55m in 6.73, which is blazing for his size. LINK

Edit: LF ran the 55m yesterday in 6.57 (2/9/13)

Holy fricking shite! AIFLF

He could potentially come to LSU as a 6'1" 210lb back running a 4.42 and that's getting into AP territory.

He is not going to Bama. There is no way that the stars align to have Derrick Henry and Leonard Fournette on the same team. During their tenure, They would win a championship every year because no one would dare stop them.

Just for fun:

Convert meters to yards = 60.1487314 yards

Divide 6.57 by 60.1487314 = time per yard = 0.10922923637920649478569052580218 seconds

Multiply time per yard by 40 = 4.369 seconds

Agreed, everything I've read makes him seem all LSU. Plus with Scarborough already committed to bama and 4 RB's in the class ahead of him why would you even want to go when he could step in and make an immediate impact at LSU.

I wish he would go to Bama, but it's not gonna happen.

Yep, BAMA took 6 stud RBs in the last two classes. LSU only has Jeremy Hill who counted toward the 2012 class but could leave after this year.

LF should be licking his chops at the clear path to him being the starting RB first day on campus.

So I'm guessing Frank Wilson, Cam Cameron and Les Miles are all gonna be on the "Get Fournette" team.
