Well that wouldn't be a bad option when LSUs 3*s turn out to be like this;
Ridley
Tyson Jackson
Chavis Jackson
Curtis Taylor
Zenon
Kelvin Sheppard
Perry Riley
Josh Dworaczyk
Lonergan
Hurst
Lavar Edwards
Morris Claiborne
Lamin Barrow
Tahj Jones
Bennie Logan
Josh Williford
Alfred Blue
Brad Wing
Ken Adams
Elliot Porter
Nic Jacobs
Jalen Collins
Tre Turner
Terrence Magee
Quentin Thomas
Ronald Martin
Deion Jones
Dillon Gordon
Jalen Mills
Reid Ferguson
Lewis Neal
Loyd Cushenberry
Conner Culp
Neil Ferrell
Clyde Edwards Helaire
Justin Thomas
Racey McMath
Jontre Kirklin
Tory Carter
Justin Jefferson
There's actually 20 more that all played significant rolls for LSU. Can't do without them IMO. I also looked at who busted and there were just as many busts at 4* as was 3* bust or transfers. There were a few more 3* busts but not by much at all. Especially lately. There were 61 3* who all played significant rolls at LSU.

So you added guys who have yet to contribute yet! Put down the 3 star koolaid. Look theres nothing wrong with having 3 star guys on a team they add value but building a NC contender is not made of a majority of 3 star players.Sure Clemson may have been the exception last year but D. watson was also a 5 star talent that lead them. How many on that list were really game changers? I'm talking LF,glen dorsey, beckham, Kevin faulk, patrick peterson types? these are the guys that are needed.
I'm not saying this class doesnt have talent but so far the elite talent is lacking. Theres about 10 slots left and i sure hope Coach O closes out with some elite talent if not top 15 at best.

Word to the wise...people tend to not take your post seriously whenever you can't even take the time to spell half of the players' names correctly...

Did you really list every single 3* in last class? You do realize non of them have recorded a single stat yet, therefore cannot be considered impact players

Most are projected to play significant rolls, and I listed this from a phone while also talking to someone so forgive me if I misspelled a few lmao. That's not the point.

They are still adding depth at this time and are projected to be decent players. So I listed them. The point is that we have had huge success with these type of players especially lately. LSU will get the Elite guys and do have the Elite guys on roster to go with these 3* and 4* we have already. How does anyone know that anyone of these guys will not be Elite at some point? You don't. Period. All this it's a very meh class is so frickn dumb. You have no clue what this class will be. Not a clue.

Not specifically talking to you but anyone who has stated this. You're dumb. We still have lots of 4* in this class as well. The 2016, 17, and 19 classes will be so good that even if this class only produces guys who play rolls we will still have an ELITE team. BUT no one knows what this class will look like, it may be better then the 2016 class. Who knows, and to have these guys before the season even starts is a big win IMO. LSU can still have a great season with that narrow our focus and close really strong. HTT

Forgive me old wise one. Hey I did this fast on a phone, shite happens. I don't give a flying frick if you or anyone else takes me seriously. Y'all know the names. It's a fact that we can't field a team without these types of players. Never have and probably never will.

I went back to take a look and many classes the 3* players actually played a much bigger roll then the 4* players. Most of the 4* quit or transfered.

LSU doesn't have majority 3* players so your point is invalid.

We have 15 offers out to OTs and 10 offers out to OGs. With (1) of each committed and (1) DT listed who might play OT. LSU can only do what it can do at this time. I'm sure we are recruiting these guys and possibly with a good season we flip some or gain interest with others. Idk we'll see. We do need to fill these areas though.

Same was said about the DL and LBs not so long ago and now we look fairly strong at those (2) positions, do we not? So what makes you think that we can't do the same when we focus our efforts there?

No one gives a shite. We all got his point. We know all of those players. The point wasn't to proof read a long list of former 3 stars, it was that it was a long list of former 3 stars.
