I forgot to mention that the kid is a helluva baseball outfielder also. He would be a really good pickup for LSU going both ways.

I'm kind of excited about this kid after watching his HUDL. Do you think LSU ends up offering because I think it's game over if ya'll do

I'd like to see him play here in Baton Rouge.

Supposedly LSU is being aggressive in keeping up contact recruitment wise according to SEC Country. LINK

He's the first football player from the small town of Vinton to receive a Power 5 Conference scholarship offer (Ole Miss).

He looks like he'll be a good baseball player too, so wouldn't mind seeing him be a two sport guy for the Tigers.

Dalton Hilliard played at 2A Patterson.
Terry Robiskie played for 1A Edgard.
So, what's your point?

I never had any issue with Vinton being 2A (I only noted they are near the bottom of that class enrollment wise).

Vinton has had very talented athletes before (football, basketball, and baseball) that would have likely done really well if they had the recruiting exposure small schools get now days. They also have lost some gifted athletes that went to bigger schools like Sulphur to get better shot at college/pro recruitment (Casey Daigle for one).

You are correct. Illinois offered Sezar, but he backed out (ended up at Grambling if I remember correctly), forgot about that one.
