Was Diesel hard to find/locate pre/post strom?

I have heard that gas was difficult in some areas to find but I am curious if this was true of diesel.

I didn't have a problem in BR getting diesel for either my dads or my truck, nor did my neighbors. It seemed that everyone was out of gas, but the diesel was flowing fine.

i found it really easy before the storm. no one was in line for it although they pumped their little hondas at the pump with diesel.

yes it was, i work in accounting for a trucking company and have a pump here at the office...no diesel to be found all week and still cant get any (delta fuel is our provider)

I think this is a little different then going to shell and filling up our 250's.
