Alright came to my parents because they have a generator but with the duration of rain I checked flood maps and noticed my new condo on Summa is reeeeeaaaaalllly close to zones like in parkenlot. Does this area flood? Debating going over there tonight and moving things up stairs. Obviously it'd only be a few inches but still...

Anyone have an idea about Summa in BR and flooding?

Street flooding in the past but you are first to get your power back usually since you're between a couple of hospitals

I lived on Summa during Katrina/Rita and Gustav. No flooding issues. But after Gustav we had lights back on in no time.

Lived there 10 years in my 1st condo. Great area. The flood maps are wrong. Water will pool on the streets but run off quickly.

No worries. Hurricane Andrew lost power four hours.
