Pointe Coupe area ok? i.e. fordoche/livonia area
Posted by vodkacop on 8/31/12 at 6:12 pm00
Im wondering if these 2 areas are ok, if theres any potential for flooding and can i get there there from the gramercy area? Whats the best route to go from gramercy area? Maybe 3125 to I-10 all the way to port allen?

No problem there.
Few trees down in Fordoche but has been cleaned up. Power back on in Fordoche and Livonia. Neither really took a big hit like they did for Gustav. No real flooding issue either to worry about. Best route, take I-10 to BR, in Port Allen take 415 to 190 then 190 west to Livonia. Take a right at second light on 77 to get to Fordoche.
One question though, why in the hell you going to Fordoche lol?

Thanks. Kin folk live there so i know the way, i was just wondering if i could get there, either taking 70 the back way to get to port allen or just take I10. Just didn't want to run into any flooded closed roads out of St James Parish. Thanks again.
