I saw they have people meeting at the home depot in Laplace if you have a boat to volunteer. I would like to go help but don't know who to contact. Does anyone have any info on what's going on, If they still need help, etc etc

Facebook posts mostly.
It looks like rescue operations may be suspended for the night, but you can always haul your boat to Home Depot to see. People are still wading out to the Home Depot.

100%. Take airline and ride in the left lane due to fallen trees.

Very bad...3000 evacuated. Many neighborhoods between I-10 and Airline Hwy are flooded, many homes are under water.

Came from the lake. It started rising earlier today and just didn't quit. It still hasn't quit rising.
