This was just posted by WWLTV on Facebook. Watch how it slows as it hits the coast. I didn't think it was ever going to move on.

This gif is why I think people who are like "God, this is all Lafayette was supposed to get! Big deal!" are stupid. You tell me the last time you saw a hurricane's western side dissipate like that during landfall. Half of the storm just vanished!
