Why do threads referencing the new LSU Podcast get anchored?

I'm sure if we got an answer, you'd have less cleanup to do anchoring these threads. As it stands, no one really knows why. These are threads where people are posting on a LSU football forum discussing topics covered in a LSU football podcast (Pod of Geauxld).
I have no dog in the fight, but I do enjoy the topics covered and the discussion that could follow in these threads. Just curious if there is something I, and others, aren't seeing regarding the anchoring and deletion of the threads.

Way too much self promotion from the people on the podcast. TD doesn't allow self promotion of other websites, and I agree with it. The advertising is obnoxious, whether or not you like the podcast

I'm not an admin, but a recent thread on the podcast had a NSFW picture in the OP, with no warning in the title. Maybe that's part of the problem. Idk
