I still don't understand why the golf IM clique just doesn't start their own board, independent of this place. Why get pissed off if a board you don't own and have zero claim to tells you no ? Just do it on your own and you call the shots ..

You're right ... Clearly, running to the help board to start threads whining about it like 7 year old girls is the far better way to go ! Admin is just executing the wishes of the private site's owner. Chicken doesn't want an IM thread that masquerades as a golf thread on his MSB .. Just deal with it and go talk in tongues to each other elsewhere .. Problem solved ..

The issue has been resolved according to Fred. The resolution has only caused non-golf posters to whine now. Golf topics have been on-topic and unanchored for a few days now.
I love that golf isn't restricted to just one weekly thread now. More topics and more posters.

They didn't whack the entire golfing subject .. they whacked the weekly golf IM thread ... two different things .. Fred didn't say GOLF couldn't be discussed on the MSB .. Geez .. It's a certain handful of posters that he has his eye on now .. not an entire topic ..

a big reason for the spike in legit golf threads is the banishment of the IM thread .. People that actually follow professional golf are in them .. that's good to see ..

There has nearly always been a weekly PGA tournament thread, pre and post IM banishment. I don't see what you are arguing in here?

I much prefer the current system. But I do find it funny people are now mad that there are more golf threads.
