While this is a dumb thread, I don't think it is a waste of a 10000th post, because chances are it would have been bad regardless.

If you press submit multiple times, doesn't it throw some sort of "double post?" warning? It may be caused more often by people pressing the back button instead of following the "return to board" link after posting so they don't lose their "new" tags.

I would assume that it's like 95+% posts from phones that do this.

Sometimes on me iPhone, I'll hit submit and then it will sort of sit there and not load. People either get impatient and hit submit again (which isn't necessary), or the phones get stuck in a loop of sorts and send it multiple times.

I have found this information to be accurate. I used to double post when I would hit submit and it seemingly not do anything so I would hit submit again. Now I just wait a few seconds when it does this and the post ends up going through.

I almost never do this, but I DP'd just now.

I open replies in new tabs, and close them after I post. Well, I closed a few other tabs along with one of them, but I wanted to bring one back with Chrome's "reopen closed tab". It brought back my thanks for posting page and DP'd.
