I doubt that's it. Political Talk is about as vitriolic as it gets, and the potential for flaming was far greater with the Music Board.

yea but the poli board is 99% republican. where anything posted conservative is pretty much agreed upon by everyone.

BS. Any good science and tech conversation is immediately destroyed during the day due to "WYHI" threads and various other BS conversations. Its fine, because its the OT, but if we had a board where these topics didn't get dragged down instantly, then it would be much better. Really only the night crew can get a good conversation on science and tech.

I also think it should be based around science as well, since Tech threads not involving Mac, Windows, and Samsung products often evolve into that. I see the board being more like the M/TV board really.

They said the Gaming Board would be Xbox vs. Ps3.. it's not, that's a horrible example. These threads would have gman and ramrod in them for 2 minutes, and then be gone.

I don't see why no one is latching on to my Home & Health board.
It's perfect for all the boards posters are asking for.
I should do a thread listing the strengths of such a board.

During the day, especially around lunch, some threads only survive on the first page for around 7 minutes if there's no response within that time. Saturation is definitely an issue on the OT, and I think more substantive discussions could be generated regarding these topics if there were a dedicated board.
