It is time. Life, property, & livestock depend on it. Wildlife & fisheries will be out trying to locate hibernating black bears in the spillway for relocation tomorrow

With the current rate of rise there will be a official 72 hours notice. If the river was rising 2 x's the rate, it would be on the news channels 36 hours before the Morganza Spillway opens. That's math & Army Corp SOP.
