Jump to new posts in a thread?

Is there a way to do this on this forum? Most of the boards I frequent, when I click the "new" icon on a thread title, I'm immediately transported, as if by magic, to the first post that I haven't read in a thread. That doesn't seem to work here. Am I missing something?

click on "last post" at the right of the thread line.

Which will bring you to the most recent post in the thread, not the first one you haven't seen yet. I believe that's what he's asking.

In order to do what you're looking for, you can go to My Posts, and click your last post in the thread and read from there. Essentially the same thing, just a few extra steps.

I've posted in a thread before with something like "posting to read later" to pickup where I left off. OR, you can bookmark the last post you read and return to it when you get back on.
