High Speed Internet Question

I'm not well versed in this so bear with me:
My wife (no pics, gtfo, idgaf, imho, fwiw, PIIHB, etc.) and I are moving in the next couple weeks and I need set up a new internet plan. I am looking to use AT&T, and they have a few DSL options.
One has a downstream speed up to 6.0 mbps and the other is up to 3.0 mbps.
We use the internet for casual browsing and downloading music/videos from time to time. My question is should we get one instead of the other?
