can someone give a quick tutorial on gif posting?

I know gif posting in general has been covered but just got a Samsung galaxy s 3 and noticed that if I click and save a gif it is stored as a gif in my gallery, however if I upload it to photo bucket it just uploaded as a still pic. Is there anyway to post a gif from my gallery to a message?
