CTRL and the "minus" key (next to the 0, or on the numpad).

Alternately, ctrl and scroll wheel on the mouse

Alternately's alternate: if it's a laptop, ctrl and the "scroll down" touchpad part (typically on the right-hand side)

If Mac, ctrl and 2 fingers down.

Are you talking just on IE while you're online?

If so click View > Zoom > 100%

Ah, sorry. I thought you had zoomed in on a webpage.

Start--> control panel--> display (or just right click on the desktop (not on an icon, on empty space) and click "properties")-->settings tab--> slide to the "more" side.

Click "OK," the screen will adjust/go black and ask you if you want to keep the settings. If it just goes black and doesn't come back up, it will in about 10-15 seconds (this is normal, but it shouldn't happen- you can probably slide it all the way to the right). Next time you slide it over, don't slide the bar so far to the right side.

Only get personilization option when right clicking. And no options to correct sreen. Its not off centered or anything just blown up as if I did zoom in but I have not and zooming all the way down to 50% does what it is supposed to do but the problem is the page starts too big and zooming doesnt effect the original size. If that makes any sense

Can you not go through the control panel? Which OS are you running? Are you, maybe, in Safe Mode?

Well now that you say that , on the bottom of my screen is says "protected mode: on" if that is safe mode. I did just play around with resolution settings and it seems to be the answer but any idea what that should be set at? Does it depend on monitor?

Yes. It's just preference, though. Some settings are fit for widescreen monitors, some for the more traditional 4:3. I'm set at 1280x1024, but it's more a matter of personal preference than anything.
