Thought this would make an interesting discussion. I used strengthlevel.com as a base for these numbers for an "advanced" 200lb male.

So how many guys do you see hitting these numbers in your gym?

Bench: 315+
Squat: 405+
Deaslift: 450+

I go to a commercial gym and I can think of like 5 people other than myself that really care at all about the big 3.

Looking at those numbers I don't think I see a lot of guys squat over 400 pounds. Honestly I don't even look.

I do see lots of dudes squat incorrectly which makes me wince just thinking about it.

Very few if any when I'm at the downtown Elmwood Fitness.

Harahan location has some strong dudes though.

It's true. My BIL does CrossFit and can deadlift 525, squat 400+ , I'm not sure what he can bench but I'm sure it's fairly high.

Any good CF gym has a legit strength program.

And we aren't using straps to pull heavy weight

I was fricking with you baw. And idgaf if you use straps, hooks, flex seal and duct tape to attach your hands to the bar. A heavy pull is a heavy pull.

Most legit crossfit gyms focus on strength then the Metcon. They also have Olympic barbell classes during the week as well, which means you are squatting and deadlifting all the time.

At Stennis Space Center? Me and me alone.

I haven't seen anyone else who can do it in 4 months.

At GCF in BR? A handful have the 405+/450+ squat/deadlift but not many have the 315+ bench.
