I just signed up for Avatar Nutrition. They have me eating 1900 calories including 200 grams of Protein. Last year I did some Whey Protien shakes for a week and then I had pancreatitis. I am not definite that the shakes caused the pancreatitis but it seems like a heck of a coincidence. That makes me nervous about supplements. How does one eat 200 grams of protein on a 1900 calorie diet without supplements? Is it possible?

13oz of chicken breast with lunch and dinner.

Puts you around 170g of protein. I'm sure you can pick up the other 30gs fairly easy.

1g protein = 4 cals
200g protein = 800 cals

You can easily do 2 shakes a day of whey protein. I have one every morning upon waking and after workout. That alone is 50-60g.

Googled "whey protein and pa.....".

Google finished it for me. First line.

Plenty of material on it from NIH to Livestrong to Keto websites. So it's not like it's just hoodies or vegans telling you it's bad. Or at least is a legitimate thing.

Yeah, when I was in the hospital one gastric doc blew it off and the other said it very well might have sparked it. Hard to know but I'd rather avoid it if I can.

How do you cook your chicken breast to keep from getting burned out on it.

One thing I've found that works. Eat vegan for a few days. A grilled chicken breast never tasted so good.

Slow cooker. Chicken, salt, pepper, chicken bouillon, can of salsa.

I eat a variety of meats to try to not get burned out on any of them. Chicken is so cheap that I tend to have it most often though..

Some tips:
-crock pot recipes
-sandwiches
-chicken salad
-one-pot meals with chicken in it
-varied marinades and seasonings
-For lean protein, also look for pork tenderloin, lean fish, lean ground beef, and turkey breast to switch things up.
-Eat boneless skinless thighs.

-salt it with sea salt and let it dry brine for about 60 minutes
-Hit it with greek seasoning on both sides.
-light olive oil
-grill

If you are worried about sodium intake you can skip the salt, but I could eat this chicken every day, multiple times a day.

Also, it's versatile. You can cube it and put it in eggs. You can eat it plain. You can slice and put in a salad. You can put it over pasta. You can put it on a sandwich, etc.

I grill a crapload of chicken every sunday evening (when I usually have the grill fired up anyway) and it lasts us through the week.

But to answer the OP, I go with protein shake and 2% milk = 62 grams of protein for 420 calories.

Low cal condiments along with whatever else you're eating with it. My go to is G. Hughes sugar free bbq sauce, other times I use salsa and throw in some avocado if my meal calls for fats.

George Foreman wasn't just a boxing legend.

Also, for the love of God switch up your protein besides yard bird. Grilled fish. Lean steak. Venison.

Im about to try Huel to supplement and help reach macros. New to US but seems legit. HUEL
also, egg whites are best source of low calorie protein. 5grams of protein and 20 calories for each serving. Buy a case a costco (6-10egg cartons for $9.99) you can easily add a carton a day to your diet. I do half in morning protein shake and other half PWO

Zero clue how flank continues to be as cheap as it is. It's so damn tasty and cheap.

Thanks guys. I'm getting the hang of this. It's crazy, even though I'm eating at an aggressive calorie deficit the protein keeps me feeling very full all day.
