What are some non obvious foods that somehow dont fill you up?
For me,
Steak- I can put down a 16 oz like nothing and it doesn't leave a dent
Sushi- I always get a salad or another dish because i can put down 2-3 rolls as a snack
Eggs- This is a big one for me because you always read that they are very satiating. I normally make a 5-6 egg omelette or a 10 egg white plus 2 eggs scrambled and nothing.
Oatmeal- My favorite food. Make 2 cups every day and its like candy to me!

Carbs. My body never signals to the brain that I'm full.

If you don't eat the yolk its not satiating.

Carbs of the junk variety.. damn swiss roll cakes. Fried shrimp. Any Asian/Indian food variety with one exception below. Weirdly chicken breast its like my body is just ignoring the fact that I am eating this shite again.
Wow sushi? My stomach feels like a balloon, I wish I could shove in more.
Whey protein on the other hand always feels me up and makes me bloated. I used to think I was lactose intolerant... but the doctor tells me I actually may be sensitive to the milk protein not the lactose.. Trying out this expensive arse goats milk now... he may be right.

Bagels. I eat one loaded with cream cheese and feel like I feel like I could put down about 3 more.
Steamed shrimp, raw osyters, MD crabs, any kind of seafood like that.
Cheese. It's not uncommon for me to eat a brick of extra sharp cheddar by itself.
Buffalo wings. Can eat a few dozen of these when I am in the mood for wings.
Thank god I work out hard and my TDEE is like 3500 or I'd definitely be a fatty

So is there any consensus here or is every person different?
Some say protein doesn't fill them up, some say carbs don't fill them up.

Protein never fills me up. I can eat 2 chicken breast like it’s nothing, 2 10oz steaks is normal, etc
Carbs on the other hand do. One packet of oatmeal and I’m done. I’d rather have a protein anyways

yeah me too. Back in my old days i was known to get a 8 piece dark from Popeyes and a large Mashed Potatoes and kill it all in one sitting.
Fried Chicken and shrimp just go straight through me. I swear i can eat 50 shrimp.
Same with crawfish. i normally kill 10 lbs and im just tired of peeling them so i stop.
