Optimum nutrition is generally considered the best brand and they sell their 10lb bags for $100 on amazon.

I went to True Nutrition and was kind of overwhelmed by the options. My only real concern is Protein, cheapness and a decent flavor. What would be my best option on there?

Just get vanilla flavor with a mix of proteins (whey & casein)

I've been a TrueNutrition fan for a while, since back when they used to be called True Protein. Highly recommend them over anyone else. I usually order

Whey Protein Isolate (Cold Filtration)
and
Team Skip Formula, which is egg, casein, and whey isolate.

I've tried lots of their flavors, and honestly Vanilla and Chocolate are the only ones I get consistently.

this right here. I like the PB Cup, mocha, and especially the cinniamon bun. I take the cinniamon bun and add cinniamon and splenda to it and its the shite. I suggest getting 1 lbs of a few flavors until you find what you like.

Stick to whey protein isolate cold filtration and the team skip formula for now. Use the whey iso post workout and use the team skip formula for all other shakes.

Gonna order this when I finish my current stuff. If you buy more than one bag of the same flavor, do they come in one bigger bag/plastic tub or in separate 1lb bags?

Just a bigger bag. You can get jugs for more money but it's a waste imo.

shite when they did the recession whey special in 2008, all 25lbs I ordered came unflavored and in a huge arse box lined with a food grade bag that looked like a trash bag. Worked all the same but was cheap as hell 4.25/lbs

I forgot about that. I wish they'd bring that back. Dunno how my wife would feel about me keeping a box of 50 pounds of protein somewhere in the house though.

Isolate is much more pure, greater than 90% protein, concentrate is around 80%. Go with iso

Costco. I'm on a budget bruh. Gotta get that 2% cash back.

May not be the best, but they had MusclePharm Cookies and Cream on sale recently. Taste good. Whatever.
