I'm impressed by the caddies lugging those 50 lb bags and running. I suspect a beverage or two will be consumed after the round.

Reminds me of the 16th at the waste management open where the caddies used to race to the green

His group was on 8 (their 17th) when the horn for darkness was about to sound off. Pampling wasn't making the cut. He hurried and finished out on 8 and ran up to 9 and hit while the group in front of them was walking down the fairway and I guess didn't give a shite where it went. Him teeing off meant that his group had started the hole and thus could finish 9 even if the horn sounded.

So he took one for his group that is going to make the cut so they didn't have to show up at 6am to play one hole then sit around for 5-6 hours before playing their 3rd

finch had just said willet could hit an iron rather than wait on jordan to get completely out of the way on 18 since willet wasn't making the cut, so that's what he did ...

day and dj both hit decent shots into 18, not to mention their drives ... just proves they could play faster if they were forced to ...

Or wanted to to keep from coming out at sunrise tomorrow morning to finish.

Under normal conditions, you're totally dependent on the group in front of you. Most of the time it's hit & wait.

Well the two other members in his group were 13 and 14 over so I think they just wanted to get the heck out of there.

Ah. I got him and Willet mixed up. They both did similar things to get done with their rounds. Pampling's was just better thanks to the trackman

Spent the whole day out there today. Course is beautiful. Kind of reminds me of Augusta a little bit.

pga has done a masterful job putting this event on

I was out there earlier this week. It's amazing. I could not imagine playing 15-18 when the greens are dried out.

Course looks tough so far today. Other than J.B., best score out so far is -1.
