Here is the email after the fitting. I live in Tallulah so I had to go to Jackson to get fitted (closest place to me that's decent). Here is the follow up email....

Had a good time with Bryan today fitting him. As I mentioned I did fit him on the Titleist Fitting cart I have here. Couples of things that need to be taken into consideration in whatever set of irons ya’ll decide on.

7 iron specs are 64/65 degrees – he could do 1 or 2 degrees up and be fine
Shaft: KBS Tour C-Taper shaft
Length: Standard

Bryan has high club head speed and hits the ball high. He hit the CB iron the best and I would suggest whatever iron family he picks that he get the same type iron as the CB. We did talk about possibly exploring hitting a more forgiving iron in the longer irons (5, 4, 3). He would benefit from the forgiveness of like the AP2 but he understands he hits those irons higher.

Let me know if you have questions. I did mention to him that Titleist will be coming out with new iron family this Fall just so he would know. I know you can help him in whether it be Taylor Made, Callaway, Mizuno whatever club to find something similar to the CB iron.

So my question is, does anyone play a blended bag like suggested above?

Also, Titleist was the only availble brand to hit so any suggestions from y'all on similar clubs to the ones recommended?

I play a blended bag of Mizuno irons. I play MP 64 for 9-iron and wedge, MP 54 for 6-8 irons, and MP H4 for 4 & 5 iron. Very happy with my decision to play a blended bag.

I personally carry 4-6 in CB and 7-P in MB. The bit more forgiveness in the long irons is enough to make a good bit of difference.

I started with 3-6 CB and 7-p mb. Have gradually replaced some of the MBs so current set is 3-9 CB and MB for pw only.

The distance loss on less than perfect shots with Mb's was not worth the better feel and flight control.

But those MB's look sweet from the top.
