Anything you all can recommend that new attendees normally do not think of?

Plenty of cash for food and drink

if you purchase merchandise, most tour stops will ship merchandise - not sure about PGA

upgrade parking if possible

you can bring your cell phone - one of those portable chargers

small thing of sunscreen

some type of portable chair

Sunscreen. Decide before you get there whether you want to camp out at a hole, or follow a group around.

have cash in case credit card machines fail....you can always get cold beer / food.

and we like to make $10 up and down bets, etc. - that is always fun during play.

You don't need plenty of cash for food and drinks at the masters though. It's cheap as hell

This is pretty solid advice. If you want to get close to some bigger named players you need to camp out at a hole and wait.

Don't scream "get in the hole" or "mashed potatoes" after every shot.

The biggest douche bags ever.

Comfortable shoes, cash, hat, sunglasses. I prefer walking around a lot and seeing the course and different players, but that's just me. You'll have a great time.

If you have a small range finder bring it. I wish I knew their distances like you can see on TV

Make sure your credit card has LOTS of room on it. Bottle of Bud is $11. Very impressive PGA store. T-shirts $32 and up.

Bring rain gear. Supposed to be a wet week.

fricking absurd. I've always thought people should band together and boycott higher beer prices at sporting events. Not sure how folks would coordinate that.

I'll be there Saturday. That's really disappointing to hear about the beer/merch prices, but also not a surprise
