Copper Mill might want to choose another photo for their promos, eh?

It's not the lack of a range that's the issue. It's that the RE developer and course developer were both too short sided in their investment.

The range was eliminated a few years ago after the lease was up on the land that was the range and the RE developer wanted to build more homes.

I could pay for one and get ten free rounds because of it and wouldn't play there.

Anyone else feel this place is on life support?

I don't understand how they afford gas for carts, it's a huge ranch, maybe they need foot golf.

I actually like the layout/design. But the condition and lack of a range in recent years has left me going elsewhere.

Covington Country Club has no range, either.

Yeah, it's a good design

Poor management has just about gotten the place closed

Copper Mill has to be full of the most unprofessional people I know.

I had a member cut in front of us and tee off without asking during a busy time on the course. We hollered at him and he just flipped us off and played on...

Complained to the GM (at the time) at the turn and he just shrugged his shoulders and said oh well.

Ah ok, I thought I was missing something obvious, I've never been there so I didn't know.

Last time I went, I got a deal tee time on GolfNow, and had I paid any more, I would've been livid. Cool layout, but that course makes Webb look like Augusta.

Played here last November in a scramble, and after my round I left my jacket on top of my bag outside the clubhouse for 5 minutes while they counted scores. I then came out to my jacket missing from my bag. I asked the cart boy and other people around if they saw someone take it, but no luck. Played there again in March and I see the cart boy wearing my jacket. I confronted him about it and he gave it back, but needless to say I'm probably never going to play there again.

These comments are almost unreal.. you people are commenting on management that isn't there anymore, half of you were saying it's on life support yet the place just redid the entire Clubhouse and cart barn so you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Their management team has treated me like family every time I've been and I had one issue with slow play and was given a free round. The greens have come back perfectly as of the beginning of this month and only have two holes with small issues. For the person that had their coat stolen you clearly did not go to the general manager and say anything because the general manager there is named Patrick and never would have let that stand if what you're saying is even true. I love Santa Maria I love Beavercreek I love Carter but I get tired of watching people bash on copper that have no idea what they're talking about.
