Xbox One - HBO Go Video Error

I haven't been able to get the HBO Go to work on Xbox One the past several days. Every time I select a show or movie I keep getting "Video Error: We're unable to play this video at this time."
I've tried everything: Resetting the app, hard resetting the Xbox, unplugging the Xbox, uninstalling/reinstalling the app, resetting the modem/router, changing HDMI cords, confirming connection speed is adequate. Not sure what else there is to do.
Anyone had luck resolving this issue?

on the 360 i get a connect error. have to refresh 360 times til it finally works.

This is an HBO thing, they have some crap servers there. My HBO Go has been horrible for 2 weeks, no issues with NetFlix, Youtube or gaming.

My Chromecast HBO GO has been acting up. I can play videos but every once in a while the video stops and I get an error similar to yours.

HBO Go has been shite on my Xbone for the past couple weeks. Streams fine on my computer. Everything else works great for my Xbone (Netflix, ESPN, Plex). I'm running 25d/5u when I'm having the buffering problems, so my connection isn't the problem.

It was down for me on Xbox One since Sunday. Tried again this evening and everything is working. Watched ballers and Silicon Valley without a hitch.

Hbo go has been horrible about buffering for several weeks. I have upgraded router and modem and it's still so frickin flakes.

We had the issue tonight where we'd select a title and it'd tell us it was no longer available when it clearly is.

Not sure about XBox but on my PS4 I had to uninstall the app and I think the new one is HBO now that I downloaded. Whichever it is, it is working now after same error.
