Xbox 360 freezing

My 360 just started freezing while loading borderlands 2. Hoping it was only the game I tried other games. Also froze while starting a mtlarch of tdm on mw3 and froze not 10 seconds into chaos.
I am not having this problem when playing DVDs in the console. Any insight on what might be the issue or a cheap fix if anything is wrong with the console itself.
Not sure if my console is f'd or every single one of my games are f'd
Note: the console itself doesn't seem to be hot or any warmer than it has been since I got it. It doesn't sound any different either.

A shitty Microsoft product is freezing? Never would have thought that. Email their tech support. Im sure they will be appalled by this shocking news.

Are the games installed onto the hard-drive?

Games are on disk not on hard drive. And it is the new version 250 GB
