Gabe is already a billionaire and has stated many times he will close Valve and Steam before letting some big corporation like EA, MS, etc get their hands on it. Money doesn't matter to him.

There's also his crusade to steer people away from using Windows and towards Linux because of how bad Windows has been.

Steam is also working with manufacturers to improve on Steam boxes and peripherals to make Steam more like a console.

An approved Steam app on Xbone or PS4 will never happen.

Well Valve would still have full control of Steam and the app. Microsoft couldn't come in and control Steam.

Also if money didn't matter to him then how come they were going to have people pay for mods?

Really hope this doesn't come to the PS4. I hate using a K&M but I would. The idea of somebody having an advantage over me on FPS would drive me to.

(I know some douches have adapters for the ps4 to use K&M)

No I don't think it matters for ps4 because you still need a PC to stream the game.

This heavily depends on the shooter in question. If the shooter already has aim assist (Ex: Halo), then the K&M won't provide an advantage imo. Now if we're talking other shooters without aim assist....then that's a whole different can of worms.

Perhaps if an experienced/skilled controller player with aim assist were up against an inexperienced/unskilled KB/M player, it would be a little closer to even.

Aim assist or not. I am very experienced with a controller.
And have tried k&m on pc.

Way quicker to aim and headshot with s k&m.

a dedicated steam app wouldn't be needed if you can stream games from your pc to your xbox.

I'm trying to understand why MS would want anything to do with streaming PC to Xbone. PC gaming seems so heavily Steam invested when it comes to buying games, this would be taking a major revenue stream and giving it to Valve. Not that I would be upset with this at all as a current Xbone owner and new member of the master race.
