WoW patch 5.4

Anyone excited about fricking up Garrosh today? I'm pretty sure we will clear the first have of SoO and finish him off tomorrow. I'm ready to see the end of his story arc and welcome the new War Chief / Alliance Overlords.

I've been killed tons of times. I wish there were more instakills for ranged because melee always gets the short end of the npc gank stick.

So this game is still around? Damn, how long has it been out now? Are they planning to release another one, or just keep building on the structure they've got? I've never played it before, but I'm really interested in the fact that people still play this game after all this time.

It has around 8 million (paid) subscribers, more than any other current MMO.
The subscriber base has experienced a slight decrease recently, which is expected when an expansion for a 8 year old game has been out for approximately a year. When the new expansion is released next year, that figure will likely crawl back to just under 10 million.

I played a DK and I would always try to help out killing them and get squashed. Eventually I just said frick it and started to tank the annoying flies whenever we got to that part.

I'm hoping WoW retires when they finally launch Titan and they continue the Warcraft story in another RTS. Basically, I'm hoping Titan is solid and I really fricking want another RTS Warcraft game (pls Blizzard).

My only frustration with the game is how it tried to be pvp balanced and that ruined pve.

They need a patch that makes it where the thousands of people cancelling every month can't. This game is dying a slow and painful death.

After seeing how bad Blizz handled the class homogenization for pvp they must want to scuttle wow .
Honestly, the classes aren't pvp balanced yet and pve is just awful unless you are ranged.
Melee dps are just a liability and warriors and rogues need not apply for serious pve progression.

from what i understand they have alot more planned for it still. I will agree with the melee comment though, it seems all bosses do strictly aoe damage right by themselves. Then there is a few aoes for range, in which the range dps has to move left once and is safe.

I'm kind of shocked Garrosh hasn't gone down on normal yet in the US. then again, generally speaking US guilds really suck.

I quit WoW years ago because I didn't want to pay to play, but I probably would play again if they dropped the subscription fee also.
