Witcher 3 NewGame+ on Deathmarch

Recently beat the game on normal, started newgame+ on deathmarch, got killed by shitty little wolves within 5 minutes....did I make a huge mistake? or should I keep plugging on?

I didn't last long on Deathmarch for my second play through. Blood and Broken Bones is fine. Deathmarch just cranks up the damage dealt by enemies to an obscene level. I couldn't get through a second playthrough anyway, because I'd done everything the first time around.

Keep plugging on, in all honesty it got MUCH easier for me as I leveled up. Just be very patient when fighting enemies and read the bestiary to see their weaknesses. Oh and USE OILS.

I keep telling myself that I'll go back to the Witcher but I don't know if I ever can. I'm a completionist and I put close to 180 hours Into my first playthrough.
The new DLC does make it appealing though.

I got the shite ending on normal difficulty and I about cried 
Going back and making different decisions was just as fresh and exciting as the first playthrough IMO

Dont think im going to finish it on Deathmarch but ill keep messing around. Dont know if i can sink another 120+ hours into the story again, but i didnt really frick around too much in Skellige the first time so i might do that.
Also might get the expansion for my normal playthrough. Heard its pretty great.

Theres a point where it tells you in a popup that you should save because the decisions from a certain point will effect the ending

Have you been to isle of mists yet? Basically everything after that effects (affects?) the ending. Especially conversations/interactions

I spent SO much time on this game, and then played a lot of the post Isle of Mists shitfaced and got the worst ending also.

Got the ending I wanted except for one thing. Wasn't trying for it. Just played the game and made decisions.
I want to go back for a second play through but I just don't know if I have time to sink into it anymore.

Not been to the isle of mists, but it's a current quest. There's another at the same point where you go around recruiting people to kaer morhen and that's what I'm doing first
