Witcher 2 had people quitting in the tutorial.

Me. Couldn't stand the game from the tutorial. Took a lot of coaxing from the board to get me to jump into Witcher 3.

I was so glad when I learned that I wasn't the only one who absolutely hated that tutorial, and nothing from it got me interested in playing the rest of that game.

The tutorial was absolute shite, but the game itself was GREAT!!! Those of you that never played/quit should go back and do so.

Yeah I fricking loved Witcher 2. Obviously it's dated compared to 3, but I agree with DoUrden. You're robbing yourself of a LOT of a great experience in 3 if you haven't played at least 2 yet.

Another thing that you may be used to doing from other games is using a roll to dodge every time (Souls). I learned fairly quickly that a side step or a short step back is much more effective and allows you a quick opening to attack.
