Reach really wasn't that bad.
ETA: Also, the need to bring back the ranking system of Halo 2/old Halo 3. Enough of this "If you play enough everyone can be the same rank" bullshite. Bring back the numbers. If you're good, you get a high rank. If you're garbage, you are a garbage rank. Easy as that.

I've gotten addicted to Reach again too. I think a lot of the reason I disliked Reach when it came out was getting through Warrant Officer felt like a huge grind and took a lot of fun out. Now that I'm passed that it seems like I'm enjoying it more and more. Big Team Battles FTW.

CTF Hang Um High is legendary. Had a group of guy friends that played ever Sunday night about 15 of us. Ordered pizza and drank beer watched SNF then 4v4 rest of the night. Great times. Best quote.

I miss these days. We used to have people in the hall, kitchen, den, and in every bedroom system linked. Those old LAN parties were so fun.
We mainly played MLG settings, but every now and then we'd play a few games just to frick off.

It's a damn shame the game fell off to what it is today. I used to be such a Halo superfan...when Halo was relevant. It was literally the only game I played competitively.
Reach isn't a quarter the game of Halo 2/3. That being said, Halo 2 > Halo 3

I'll probably still end up getting it.
Bitch about it, but play it twice a week.
Get my money's worth, but ultimately stick with Blops 2 assuming they didn't destroy their franchise.
Worst comes to worst, at least I know Hitman is going to kick serious arse.

I hated Reach, and I still played it a good bit. I got to the half moon symbol (Mythic)? Got a 3.0 K/D in that booty game. I really hope Halo 4 will be worth a frick!
