I don't hate it, but it does detract from the experience.

I can understand this, but you don't need to force yourself to get apples and coins. They have enough in your path that you earn enough to finish the game.

Yea you really do not need to get everything. If you are a 100% completion type person than I can see how it can get annoying. I get where you are coming from though. Some games I will never go out of my way to collect certain things.

I went back and started playing the first Crash a few months ago and had to quit. It's fun, but there's one thing that caused me to quit, and I'm sure this is why I never finished the game as a kid, the game's save system is stupid. I would complete 2-3 levels and it wouldn't save. If u run out of lives, u better be ready to play all those levels again. That's ridiculous and made the game hard to play. Good thing is, the remastered version will have a new save system where u can save at any time I heard.

Crash only at 30fps? Man this sucks. Really want 60fps since it's a platformer.
